Road Work and Street Scrapes

Our company performs all facets of road and street reconstruction from demolition of the existing road features, installation of all drainage, sewer, water, electrical and appurtenant utilities, installation of all base gravel and process materials, installation of concrete, granite or other stone curbing, and installation of all finished stamped, stenciled, or standard concrete pavement and bituminous concrete pavement and curbing.

 

Excavation and Site Development

C.J. Fucci Inc. has the expertise and capabilities to perform excavation and development of any sized site. We specialize in complex excavations requiring large scale import/export of material, steel sheeting, soldier pile and lagging, shotcrete, dewatering, remediation of contaminated soils and water, installation of all utilities, roadways, and finished hardscape work.

 

Remediation

Remediation and handling of contaminated groundwater require special skills and expertise to ensure strict compliance with all CT Department of Environmental Protection and EPA requirements.

C.J. Fucci Inc. has extensive experience in remedial excavations for disposal, relocation, and capping of contaminated materials and handling contaminated groundwater. Our employees are required to maintain current OSHA HAZWOPER 40 – 80 Hour Training and Yearly updates so we are current with all of the latest regulations involving handling and disposal of contaminated materials.

Bridge Construction

From simple box culverts to steel girders and complex cast in place beams and decks, C.J. Fucci Inc. is capable of performing all phases of bridge construction including installation of falsework and temporary or permanent pedestrian bridge, demolition of existing superstructures, cofferdams and dewatering, installation of driven and drilled piling, reinforcing and structural steel, concrete forming and placement, and all appurtenant work.

  

Utilities

C.J. Fucci Inc. has installed miles and miles of underground utilities across Connecticut. We specialize in the installation of all types of underground utilities including water, sewer, storm, electrical, telecommunication, and fiber-optic lines. We have installed large scale utility structures, manholes, catch basins, and precast and cast in place electrical vaults. We are the on-call emergency sewer repair contractor for the Greater New Haven Water Pollution Control Authority which services the towns of New Haven, East Haven, Hamden, and Woodbridge. Our knowledge and experience in complex shoring systems allow us to work safely and efficiently around existing utilities for repair and/or complete replacement of all types of utilities.

C.J. Fucci Inc’s expertise is un-matched in demolition of all sized structures both residential and commercial, as well as demolition, removal, and disposal of any quantity of concrete and steel.
